Welcome to Cecil Township Volunteer Fire Company No.2 (Muse).
We are the emergency service provider for the southern part of Cecil Township.
Our coverage area includes the village of Muse and outlying areas that include Mayfair Meadows, Pristine Fields, Mission Hills, Oakbrooke Estates, Overlook at Southpointe, Alto Piano and the Southpointe Industrial and Business Complex. We provide fire, rescue and EMS first responder coverage to these areas. We also provide mutual aid to several neighboring communities.

A Firefighters Prayer
Whenever I am called to duty, God where ever flames may rage.
Give me the strength to save some life whatever be its age.
Help me embrace a little child before it is too late
Or save an older person from the horror of that fate.
Enable me to be alert and hear the weakest shout
And quickly and efficiently to put the fire out.
I want to fill my calling and to give the best in me.
To guard my every neighbor and protect his property.
And if according to my fate I am to lose my life

Our Fallen Heros
The U. S. Fire Administration tracks and collects information on the causes of on-duty firefighter fatalities that occur in the United States. We conduct an annual analysis to identify specific problems so that we may direct efforts toward finding solutions that will reduce firefighter fatalities in the future. This information is also used to measure the effectiveness of programs directed toward firefighter health and safety.
